PVC HPL SHEETS

About the Product

HPL stands for high pressure laminate, and is made from phenolic and melamine resin treated with special papers. HPL is a rigid, fireproof board that’s also anti-static. HPL is durable and well-suited for surfaces in high-traffic areas, such as in hospitals, clinics, retail, corporate, and hospitality settings.
High-pressure laminate (HPL) is a durable, anti-static material known for its fireproof qualities. It is manufactured from phenolic and melamine resins combined with specially treated papers under high temperature and pressure. Incorporating nanotechnology into the resin enhances its resistance to pollution, wear, and static electricity, making it a preferred choice for anti-static flooring applications.
PVC coverings are valued for their enduring anti-static properties and consistent electrical conductivity. They feature a conductive network created by the interaction of plastic particles, with various surface patterns that resemble marble. While aesthetically pleasing and effective in decoration, PVC’s surface wear resistance is generally lower compared to HPL finishes.
PVC and HPL are versatile materials employed in various applications, including:
1. Raised Floor Systems: : Both PVC and HPL are utilized in raised floor systems due to their anti-static properties, water resistance, and contributions to fire and noise prevention.
2. Flooring: : PVC and HPL are effective for flooring applications. PVC, in particular, offers permanent anti-static functionality, making it a reliable choice for environments where static control is crucial.
3. Laminates: : PVC laminates, composed of polyvinyl chloride layers, are notable for their moisture resistance. They are ideal for areas prone to damp conditions, such as bathrooms and kitchens.
4. Wires and Instrumentation Cables: : PVC is widely used for insulating wires and instrumentation cables, offering durability and protection.
5. Pipes : PVC is also commonly employed in pipe manufacturing due to its robustness and resistance to corrosion.
6. Medical Devices:  : PVC’s properties make it suitable for use in various medical devices, ensuring safety and reliability.
7. Wire and Cable Insulation:  PVC is a preferred material for wire and cable insulation, providing effective protection and longevity.
